of your letter of
respecting the temporary employment in
the liong Kong Post Office of Mr.J.II.
Cooper, Sorting Clerk and lelegraphist
in the General Post Office,
2. I am to request you to
suggest to the Postmaster eneral that
there seems to be some doubt whether
the temporary employment of Mr. Cooper
has been in the Hong Kong Post Office if so arranted,
as to make any alteration
in his position with regard to civil
pension. He appears to be still
technically ens property in the Army
